2.1 What is the local currency in Vietnam ?
The local currency in Vietnam is Vietnam dong.
2.2 ATMs are available everywhere in Vietnam ?
You can find it easily in the main cities of Vietnam such as Hanoi, Saigon, Hue, Hoian, Danang, Nha Trang and these ATMs only provide Vietnam dong.
2.3 Can I make ordinary purchases in dollars or euros ?
Yes, but this is only possible in first class restaurants, luxurious hotels or souvenir shops or markets for foreigners. We advise you to use the local currency - VND to pay for your purchases.
You can change dollars or euro into VND at the airport or in major hotels.
2.4 How much cash can I bring into Vietnam?
There is no limit on the amount of cash you can bring into Vietnam. However, according to Article 2 of Circular n°15/2011/TT-NHNN dated 12 August 2011, if the currency totals are more than 5,000 USD (five thousand US dollars) or their equivalent in foreign currency; 15,000,000 VND (fifteen million Vietnamese dong); you must make a customs declaration.
2.5 Do children have the right to carry cash by themselves when they enter or exit Vietnam? If yes, how much?
If he/she has an individual passport in their own name, he/she has the right to carry the same amount as the adult. If the total amount are more than 5,000 USD (five thousand US dollars) or their equivalent in foreign currency; 15,000,000 VND (fifteen million Vietnamese dong); he/she must make a customs declaration.

4.1 How long is a passport valid for?
A child’s passport is valid for 5 years, compared to a standard adult length of 10 years.
4.2 What to do if my passport is lost or stolen abroad?
- If your passport has been stolen, you must contact the nearest local police and the Embassy or Consulate to report it.
- If you lost your passport, you must make a loss report at the nearest Embassy or Consulate.
4.3 How long should a passport to be valid to travel in Vietnam?
For the purpose of travel, Vietnam requires a passport validity of at least six months from the date of entry into Vietnam.

5.5 Which international airports accept the visa on arrival in Viet Nam?
Visa on arrival can be obtained in any of these five Vietnam international airports:
- Noi Bai Airport in Hanoi
- Danang Airport
- Tan Son Nhat Airport in Ho Chi Minh City
- Cat Bi Airport in Hai Phong
- Cam Ranh Airport in Khanh Hoa
5.6 What is Letter of invitation?
Letter of invitation issued by the Vietnamese competent authority. It is a compulsory part to enter Vietnam, according to the Code of immigration of the Vietnamese Ministry of Foreign Affairs. It allows you to embark on a flight to Vietnam.
Note: Vietnam visa on arrival is applicable to air travel only.

5.8 Who are exempted from visa to Vietnam ?
Please visit the website of Vietnam Ministry of Foreign Affairs to see the full list of visa-exempt nationalities.
5.9 My nationality is French. Do I need an entry visa to Vietnam ?
If you are staying for 15 days (or less) in Vietnam, you will be exempted from the Vietnam visa, according to the Vietnamese policy for French nationals.
If your stay is more than 15 days, the entry visa to Vietnam is obligatory.

6.2.1 How to make a settlement ?
For the settlement, we have three methods:
- Payment by bank transfer
- Online payment via Onepay Secure Payment Gateway
- Payment in cash or POS (acceptable if there is an agreement between Phu Binh Voyages and the client)

6.2.2 When do I have to pay for my tour ?
Upon your reservation confirmation email, you must:
- Settle totally international air tickets and visa fees purchased by PHUBINH VOYAGES (if applicable).
If your tour is confirmed more than 35 days before the date of departure, you have to pay:
- A deposit on the total amount of the reservation.
- The balance will be paid to PHU BINH VOYAGES no later than 30 days before the day of departure.
If your tour is confirmed less than 35 days before the date of departure, you have to pay:
- The total amount of the reservation.
6.3.1 Can I modify or cancel my tour ?
Yes, of course you have the right to modify or cancel your tour. For more details on this subject, please see term 4 and term 5 in our Booking conditions.
6.3.2 Can I get a refund after canceling my trip ?
For more details on this subject, please see term 5 in our Booking conditions.
6.3.3 Phubinh Voyages issue the invoice for our tour ?
The official invoice will be issued after your payment of the total amount. You can ask us to make an invoice for your group or for each member of your group.
6.3.4 Who should I contact if there is a problem in my trip ?

7.1 I'm going to Vietnam for the first time. Where should I go ?

Currently, there are no compulsory vaccinations in Vietnam. However, the recommended vaccines are hepatitis B; typhoid fever; Hepatitis A, Japanese encephalitis and antimalarial drugs.
